Wow, been married 6 months next week! Time has gone fast. And below are very belated wedding photos! Big thanks to Simon Mackenzie for his amazing photography skills. It was an awesome day.

As you can see from the pic above that i sang at the reception. I’m just recording them, so will upload them soon… one for my new hubby called, “by the fridge”
Psalm 139 was the reading at our wedding, really just emphasising the fact that “all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be…” including our wedding day. God had known this day was coming before the beginning of creation. But the main marriage that’s on his heart is the marriage of his church with the bridegroom Jesus. Jesus died for his church – the bride, and one day he’s coming again, and we’ll drink the marriage wine, and rejoice in the biggest party that has ever been known to man. A bride on their wedding day is just the most clear picture of Jesus and his church. A union, a celebration, a vow of the deepest love, a love that is abounding, never changing, never giving up on me. He is love vast as the ocean desiring that all come to know him and know this amazing love. What’s written in your book?

Hey!
Long time no post! Sorry i’ve been off the radar a bit. Been hectic as you can imagine wedding planning. But am going to hopefully be blogging regularly and updating more music. Had a great gig last week at Emmanuel in Fazakerley in Liverpool.
Thanks so much for having me guys. It was a real privilege and honour to share stories and music with you. Hadn’t had a gig in a while, but wasn’t nervous as on 20 May a miracle happened. I played at my lovely friend’s wedding and had the lovliest and craziest experience:
So i went to the rehearsal at the church on the Friday. It was beautiful to see the bride and groom the day before they became man and wife. But i was very overwhelmed. I just had a massive sense of ‘marriage’ and actually.. that it is massive. And my job on the Saturday was to lead worship, which began to become a very big deal in my small little head. Anyway, when i got home after the rehearsal on the Friday afternoon, i was very emotional. I wept for an hour and a half. It was really bizarre, but the tears kept flowing. I felt like god was definetly doing something in me, and preparing me for the wedding!
Saturday arrived and i was completely at peace. I think i was the most content i have ever been in my life. Which generally shouldn’t be the case if your about to play at a wedding! God really answered my prayer. I knew that god had chosen me to lead worship at this wedding and as i seeked his peace, he completely drenched it on me. You’ll be happy to know, that the weeping on the friday, meant that i had cried all my tears so i could get through all the songs on the Saturday! thank you lord!

God has been speaking to me a lot about peace this year. In Proverbs 31 it speaks about the character of a noble wife. She’s incrediable. Upon first glance, scarily so. But actually i read again through eyes of peace (that Jesus freely gives) and it’s beautiful and a life that is attainable. When you first read it, you can read with a hint of, ‘well, that’s not possible’. But i believe it is as i have fully experience this peace which goes beyond your circumstance. Jesus did not die on the cross for us not to have a life of peace and joy. And whatever circumstance we are going through or trial or mountain that we face, however big or small it may seem, we can have total peace. I’ve truly experienced it/ I was so nervous leading up to Michele’s wedding, but slowly as each day i chose peace, the fear went and i was filled with faith. Today choose faith over fear, peace over doubt. If god has got something for you to do, he is going to give you everything you need to do it.
Thank you lord for your perfect peace.
JUNE 13TH – I’m speaking and sharing songs (and a couple of new ones) at Stockport AGlow at Kro Bar next Monday. Starts at 7pm. Would love to see you there. They are always amazing meetings where god loves to bless His daughters. Come hungry to receive and be refreshed. He has more for you.
And a quick update from Uganda – was able to give £20 from CD sales to Jane. She’s out there right now in Uganda. Can’t wait to hear all the stories! So far a blind guy has been healed and they have been giving out gifts to the sponsored children. God is good!
God Bless

Just want to say a massive thank you for those of you who have bought CDs. Half of the proceeds go to CRMI my amazing friends based in Uganda. The grand total is now £577. So thank you. If you haven’t bought a CD and like what you hear you can click here and this will direct you to my online shop. Easter is coming up, and they would make lovely easter presents as each one is uniquely packaged and all songs boldly bring Jesus’ grace and peace. Not only that, you will have helped a brilliant cause, restoring the lives in Uganda. Your money helps send children to school, helps to buy medicine for the sick, helps take abused women off the street, helps bring discipleship and love.
Thank you

Make my life a prayer to you
I want to do what you want me to
No empty words and no white lies
No token prayers no compromise
I wanna shine the light you gave
Through your son you sent to save us
From ourselves and our despair
It comforts me to know you’re really there
Well I want to thank you know
For being patient with me
Oh it’s so hard to see
When my eyes are on me
I guess I’ll have to trust
And just believe what you say
Oh you’re coming again
Coming to take me away
I want to die and let you give
Your life to me so I might live
And share the hope you gave me
The love that set me free
I want to tell the world out there
You’re not some fable or fairy tale
That I’ve made up inside my head
You’re God the son and you’ve risen from the dead
I want to die and let you give
Your life to me so I might live
And share the hope you gave me
The love that set me free
Inspired by the words of Keith Green’s prayer today. I’m reading one of his books at the moment – so inspired by the rawness of his relationship with Jesus, and seeing the greater revelation of grace that he received through the years. ‘The L O V E that set me free’
